ICDSST 2016 now open for short paper submissions

 

The EWG-DSS’ 2016 International Conference on Decision Support System Technology (ICDSST 2016) is now calling for short papers. The deadline for short paper submission is 1 March 2016. Abstracts of all accepted short papers will be published in printed conference proceedings with ISBN number. The 2016 International Conference on Decision Support Systems Technology (ICDSST 2016) on “Decision Support Systems Addressing Sustainability & Societal Challenges will be held in Plymouth, UK, 23-25 May 2016. The ICDSST 2016 is organized by the EWG-DSS (EURO Working Group on Decision Support Systems) in co-operation with University of Plymouth, and sponsored by EURO (the Association of European Operational Research Societies). The EWG-DSS has already established a recognized tradition is organizing high quality conferences and workshops concerning themes of Decision Support Systems, their applications and development approaches. The ICDSST 2016 will focus on decision making challenges regarding how DSS can help address various societal and sustainability issues (inspired by the EU Horizon 2020 programme) in order to build a better society for us and for future generations to live in. Addressing societal and sustainability issues is a daily need for each one of us. Various developments within decision systems, including collaborative decision making with the use of social networks and web resources; dynamic spatial-temporal decision making; and the scientific research behind the technical and social aspects of web-based decision processes can certainly be of great support for future developments for solving societal and sustainability challenges. The EWG-DSS is a Working Group on Decision Support Systems within EURO, the Association of the European Operational Research Societies. The main purpose of the EWG-DSS is to establish a platform for encouraging state-of-the-art high quality research and collaboration work within the DSS community.
