EWG-DSS 2014-Award

Dear EWG-DSS Members,

The EWG-DSS Coordination Board Members are pleased to inform you that Ksenija Mandic was granted with the “EWG-DSS 2014-Award“, with the paper “Supplier selection using Interpolative Boolean algebra and TOPSIS method” that was presented in the GDN-2014 International Conference jointly organized by INFORMS GDN Section & the EWG-DSS EURO Working Group on DSS, with special focus on “Group Decision Making and Web 3.0”, held in Toulouse, in June 2014.

We sincerely congratulate Ksenija Mandic and her collaborators of this achievement.
The “EWG-DSS 2014-Award” prize is of € 300.00.

The official EWG-DSS 2014-Award Celebration will take place during the ICDSST-2015 – The EWG-DSS 1st International Conference on Decision Support System Technology, with special focus on “Big Data Analytics in Decision Making” ( http://ewgdssbelgrade2015.wordpress.com/ ), which will be held in Belgrade, Serbia, in the period of May 27th to 29th, 2015. On this occasion, we plan to deliver the EWG-DSS 2014-Award Certificate to Ksenija Mandic personally.

For the EWG-DSS 2014-Award, 12 candidates were considered as stated in the table reproduced below. We also take this opportunity to congratulate all the short-listed paper-candidates (presented in the GDN-2014 in Toulouse and in the IFORS 2014 – DSS Streams in Barcelona)  for their research quality!

The EWG-DSS is a Working Group on Decision Support Systems within EURO, the Association of the European Operational Research Societies. The main purpose of the EWG-DSS is to establish a platform for encouraging state-of-the-art high quality research and collaboration work within the DSS community.
