EXTENDED DEADLINE for Abstract Submissions: March 30th, 2015

The EURO 2015 is the 27th European Conference for Operational Research and Management Science (ORMS), organised by the European Association of Operational Research Societies in conjunction with the UK OR Society. The EURO 2015 will take place at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland from July 12th to 15th, 2015. More details about the Conference and the venue can be found in the Conference Homepage: http://www.euro2015.org/.

As the organizers of the Stream of Decision Support Systems, the EWG-DSS would like to invite you: researchers, practitioners, as well as students working in the areas of decision making, analysis and decision support to participate at this conference and to submit your work to this stream. The DSS Stream’s is composed of 6 sessions. These sessions define the main topics of interest in this stream. In order to submit your abstract to one of the DSS Sessions listed below, you need to login in the conference site, select “Abstract Submission” and “Submit an Abstract” and then enter the session’s code (see below) to which you wish to place your submission. The DSS Stream Session codes are given below:

 Contributors are requested to submit their Abstracts (no more than 600 characters) in English (without formulas or mathematical notations) up to March 30th, 2015. Notice that each attendee is only allowed to present one paper at the conference. Authors should keep us informed about their contributions to the DSS Stream, by sending us a copy of your submitted papers via e-mail (ewg-dss@fccdp.com), in order to ease the organisation of our sessions. Thanks! ♣ Post-publication: A selection of the work presented in the DSS Stream will be invited to submit full papers to the EWG-DSS organized Journal Special Issues of 2015/2016.

About ewgdss

The EWG-DSS is a Working Group on Decision Support Systems within EURO, the Association of the European Operational Research Societies. The main purpose of the EWG-DSS is to establish a platform for encouraging state-of-the-art high quality research and collaboration work within the DSS community. Other aims of the EWG-DSS are to: - Encourage the exchange of information among practitioners, end-users, and researchers in the area of Decision Systems. - Enforce the networking among the DSS communities available and facilitate activities that are essential for the start-up of international cooperation research and projects. - Facilitate professional academic and industrial opportunities for its members. - Favour the development of innovative models, methods and tools in the field Decision Support and related areas. - Actively promote the interest on Decision Systems in the scientific community by organizing dedicated workshops, seminars, mini-conferences and conference streams in major conferences, as well as editing special and contributed issues in relevant scientific journals.
